Two new sewing machines for the Home of Mercy sewing group, Kisii, Kenya Welcome to Australian Friends of Africa - continuing the work of a number of Australian churches partnering with African church communities in sharing in the gospel in our experience of faith, evangelism, and compassionate, practical aid for those in need. The work of Australian Friends of Africa is focused in the East African nations of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. AFOA facilitates Pastor visits from these countries to Australia and also sends ministry teams from Australia to build up the relationships established in African communities through ministry and practical aid projects. The HIV/Aids crisis continues to leave thousands of children as orphans – every day.
